This Privacy Policy explains how EduGears AI Studio (“EduGears AI Studio”, “we”, “us”) handles information in connection with this marketing website and the Studio product. EduGears AI Studio is an AI course studio that lets creators build courses and publish them for delivery in any LTI 1.3 learning management system.

Information we collect

  • Contact details you submit. When you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, optional organization, the purpose of your inquiry, and your message.
  • Account information. When you sign up for the Studio product, we collect the details needed to create and operate your account.
  • Usage and device data. Like most websites, we may collect basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed) to keep the site secure and understand how it is used.

Learner and course data

When an institution delivers a Studio course in its own LMS, learner activity flows through the EduGears AI integration and grades are returned to that institution's gradebook over LTI Assignment & Grade Services. Course analytics are scoped by design: publishers see cross-institution analytics for their own courses, while each institution's instructor sees progress only for their own class. Institutions remain responsible for their own students' data within their LMS.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us operate the site and product (for example, email delivery and hosting), and when required by law. These providers are bound to handle the information consistently with this policy.

Data retention & security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the product and for legitimate business or legal purposes, and we use reasonable technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit — to protect it.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable data-protection law.
