Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the EduGears AI Studio website and product (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

EduGears AI Studio lets you author courses, publish them as access codes, and make them available for delivery in third-party LTI 1.3 learning management systems. Features and availability may change as the product evolves.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Your content

You retain ownership of the courses and materials you create or upload. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, and deliver your content to the institutions that redeem your access codes. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to the content you publish and that it complies with applicable law. You can export your content — to Common Cartridge, SCORM, or Moodle formats — at any time.

Access codes & distribution

You control distribution of your courses through access codes. By default codes do not expire; you may set an expiry, regenerate a code, or unpublish a course at any time. Unpublishing prevents new redemptions while institutions that have already redeemed retain access so that learners are not interrupted.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service — including by attempting to disrupt it, access it without authorization, infringe others' rights, or upload unlawful content.

Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
